When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders. We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for XXX years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses. We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.
Payments
We accept payments through WooCommerce Payments. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to WooCommerce, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. By using WooCommerce Payments you agree to be bound by the WooCommerce Terms of Service and acknowledge that you have read the WooCommerce Privacy Policy
Free Shipping Policy
Currently we ship to Canada Only. All orders are shipped through Canada Post, Purolator or UPS. Shipping Costs are calculated based on the weight, dimension, and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. All packages are shipped from Victoria British Columbia Canada. A tracking number will be sent to the contact email provided once the order has been shipped. GigaCraft processes and ships orders Monday through Friday. If the item is in stock, we have up to a 3-business-day processing time after we receive your order. Shipping time (separate from processing time) varies based on item, size, and location for delivery. Please note that our business days are Monday – Friday and may exclude holidays. If you have any concerns about the timing of your delivery, please contact us before placing your order. Please note that we can not ship to PO Boxes. Orders submitted with a PO box will be cancelled and refunded in full. Purchases over CAD$150 ship FREE!
Cancellations
Email GigaCraft customer services contact@gigacraft.ca to cancel your order. We will make every effort to cancel it. However, orders that have already shipped can’t be cancelled. Any order that has shipped is no longer eligible for cancellation and must follow the return process instead and is subject to our return policy.
Warranty
All GigaCraft products are warranted for 5 years. The Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and aging of product, improper use or handling, or running into stuff. The Warranty covers detects in the materials, manufacturing, and design. GigaCraft will repair or replace a product found to be defective under the terms and within the period of this Warranty. To obtain Warranty Service, product registration should be completed within 30 days of the date of original purchase for warranty activation. It is recommended that each customer keep a copy of its sales receipt, should it be required in the future for original proof of purchase. To register your products, click here.
